A conference on the topic of Pike will be held at the Swedish Air Force Museum in Linköping, Sweden, on November 4, 2016, with a following hackathon and workshop at Roxen Internet Software's offices on November 5, 2016 (Friday to Saturday).
The focus of the Pike conference centers around language development, application development, and the open software and standards approach.

The conference will accept submission of presentations and workshop topics until the 24th of October.

Preliminary programme
The preliminary plan for the conference is to start on the morning of Friday, November 4 at the Ordersalen, and that the day will be devoted mainly to presentations of and discussions about Pike-related projects. The Saturday will mainly consist of workshops, and include a workshop on the future development of Pike.
Locations
The first day of the conference will be held at the Swedish Air Force Museum, with the conference room "OrderSalen" as the primary location.
From the train station, take bus 13 towards the Malmslätt area. The bus stop is called "Flygvapenmuseum" and the trip takes about 20 minutes.
Taxis, of course, can take you directly to the Museum.
The second day of the conference will be held in Roxen Internet Software's offices in downtown Linköping.
From the train station it is a 10 minute walk to get to S:t Larsgatan 22A.
Registration
The conference will charge a small fee (10 Euro). Payment can be made in cash on arrival if no other means of payment turns out to be practical. Registration can be submitted by email (see Contact information below).
Meals
The conference will arrange for a subsidized lunch (~10 Euro) at the Air Force Museum on the Friday. Lunch downtown is available at various local restaurants at prices ranging from 5-10 Euro for simple meals.
Travel arrangements
The nearest airports are Linköping airport, Norrköping airport (30-40 minutes from Linköping), Nyköping/Skavsta airport (also known as Stockholm South, some 90 minutes from Linköping), and Stockholm/Arlanda airport (2.5 hours from Linköping). The airports at Linköping and Norrköping are small airports with only a few international flights each day.
(People travelling from the UK or Ireland may note that Ryanair offers fairly frequent and wallet-friendly flights to Nyköping/Skavsta.)
