Description

Get IPTC information from an open file.

Supported embedding formats are:

• PhotoShop Document (aka PSD).

• Postscript and Embedded Postscript.

• Joint Picture Experts Group (aka JPEG).

Returns

Returns a mapping containing any found IPTC IIM data.

Note

Values declared as UTF-8 that contain malformed UTF-8 are interpreted individually as ISO-8859-1 instead. Other ISO-2022 declarations are applied to each value independently.
